This workshop is the perfect place to get started with repeat patterns - I will walk you through the basics of designing, carving & block printing (tessellating) repeat patterns:

  • Understand how repeat patterns work in the context of block printing
  • Learn the process of designing, carving and block printing repeat patterns on paper.
  • Carve your first (tessellating) repeat block in the workshop 

This workshop is designed for participants with basic block printing skills (e.g., who have taken the Intro to Block Printing workshop or other entry-level classes or carved a couple of stamps before).

By the end of this workshop series, you'll understand how repeat patterns work and have the skills and knowledge to print repeat patterns from your own hand-carved stamps, as well as the confidence to apply what you have learned to your own projects.

The live online workshop is in English. Price is in Swiss Francs (CHF).
