Hey, I'm Ali!

I am a self-taught printmaker and surface pattern designer based in Zurich, Switzerland. I am the creative force behind my studio 3 Dotted Penguins. My work has attracted more than 70'000 followers on Instagram.

My mission? I am here to teach you all about my passion for block printing and pattern design, sharing my hard-earned lessons from a complete block printing newbie in 2018 (with no previous experience) to the pattern pro I am now. With my experience, I will help kickstart your block printing journey.

Since 2020, I have taught hundreds of students worldwide. There is no bigger joy than seeing my students experience the magic of block printing through the work they create.
